Mangosteen is a native fruit to Indonesia, and many other countries in Southeast Asia. Considered the Queen of Fruit, mangosteen has a deep reddish-purple colored exterior when ripe and the inner flesh is white with a heavenly juicy, sweet, and slightly sour taste.

Nutrition wise, mangosteen is often termed a “superfruit” due to its exceptionally high nutritional value, coupled with a very high antioxidant value. This makes it a fantastic addition to any healthy diet.
